Founded in 2014, the principals at Quantic Water Systems have a combined total of over 100 years of water treatment design and construction experience.  They offer a unique approach to solving your water treatment concerns and currently focus on the recycling and reuse of water in the unconventional oil and gas industry.

 


James J. Manns, PE

Jim has over 45 years of experience in engineering and construction, with expertise in design/build of wastewater treatment facilities.  Since 1983, he has been the founder CEO/President of North Bay Construction.  He received his BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and a MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.  Jim is a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering in Pennsylvania and a Professional Engineer in Ohio.  He is also licensed in plumbing, HVAC, and Hydronics in Ohio.

Mike Evon

Sales expert and businessman, Mike has 30+ years experience meeting customer needs as an owner and operator of numerous business.  His customer oriented approach has won him numerous sales awards.

John Fischer, ME

John has 35 years experience in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, materials management and hands on business experience in both start up and high growth situations.  With his combined background of a Mechanical Engineering degree from Clarkson University and MBA from Indiana University, he is a multifaceted contributor.

Alan Schroeder, CHE

Alan is known for his strong conceptual skills, especially when applied to process de-bottlenecking and improving technology.  He is an expert and creative user of process simulation models for optimizing new and existing processes to increase capacity, improve recoveries, enhance energy efficiency, and/or reduce operating and capital costs.  Alan is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Chemical Engineering and MBA from Cleveland State University.

Joe Bork, ME

Along with 35 years’ experience in engineering, operations, construction, project and manufacturing management, he has a broad industry background that includes chemical process, refining, mining, manufacturing and glass industries.  Operating processes in which he has experience include: continuous and batch operations, extrusion, mixing, solid material handling, solid-liquid separation, screening, crushing, grinding, pneumatic conveying, gas compression and liquefaction, pipeline transportation, and product gasification.  Joe received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University.

Dr. Steve Paspek, CHE

Steve is responsible for the process design of capital and process improvement projects for chemical, petroleum refining and manufacturing facilities.  He is especially proficient in process development (including new and existing processes), and project engineering for manufacturing capital projects from conceptual design through start-up.  Steve holds 29 US patents, multiple foreign patents and has published several papers.  He has working knowledge of manufacturing operations and the codes relevant to process engineering.  He performs calculations required for process design and equipment sizing, prepares process design packages including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, heat and material, balance capital cost estimates, equipment lists, equipment specifications, vendor bid analysis and operation manuals.  His other design experience includes economic evaluations, computer simulations, equipment testing, new product evaluations, and process and equipment optimization.  He received his BS, MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
